What?! Stone? Gall? Bladder?

My twin, Nana has recently had her gallbladder removed by keyhole surgery on the 16th of August at Rejang Medical Centre, Sibu (RMCS). Let me do the setori telling...

On the August, 16, she had her worst attack in the middle of the night. The attack lasted for more than 16 hours, so we decided to send her to RMCS for the second time. Actually she was admitted for half day at RMCS on the 30th of June where she was diagnosed with gallstone. She was supposed to have the surgery on 30th June but the doctor cancelled it. The doctor afraid that some stone might had blocked the bile duct, so he referred Nana to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH), Kuching for Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

On the 5th of July, Nana was admitted at SGH for the ERCP on the 7th of July. She was then, checked out from the hospital on July, 7th at 11.50pm! Yes, P.M. Ko ada ? Sejarah pertama Female Surgical Ward 7B bila pesakit keluar almost midnight padah misi. She was put onto a waiting list and was scheduled to have the surgery at SGH on the 23rd of September 2011.

So, she requested to Dr. Chen from RMCS to do the surgery ASAP on the 16th of July. Admitted to the ward at 5pm and sent to the operation theater around 7pm. She was back at the ward around 9.45pm and back home on the 18th July.

Thank god, the surgery was a total success. She's back to work again last Monday after 3 weeks of "holidays". Yey!
