Have you ever made a friend that you initially met on the internet (mIRC/Facebook/Friendster/MySpace/Hi5/YM/MSN, etc)? In this case, I've made loads of best friends through mIRC back in 1999 'til 2005. Since chit-chatting on mIRC in 1999, I've had the good fortune to meet some of the chatters. Many thanks to Kharled Mardam-Bey for developing such an amazing internet application (mIRC). We love you lah! :-)
Most of my friends I've met online (and in real life too!), mainly from the Iban and Bidayuh chat rooms on Webnet (Webchat) and DALnet. But since starting a blog in March 2009, I never had a chance to meet any new blogger friends in person except for Sara Jane, Nicholas Jr, []_AiE_[] and Carol whom I met through mIRC, while De' Conqueror is my Uni-mate and Talk in Riddle and Jayne's are my siblings.
Ehemmm... FYI, my fiance and I initially met online through mIRC too... Haha! After we made through the entire "online process", we scheduled to meet in person in 2005. Bla bla bla and so on, finally we got engaged in June 2007. Hmmm, all I can say is "God works in mysterious ways". Even through the internet :-).
PS: I hope I meet every single one of you someday! Ah, I love the internet *Wink*
