What's Wrong With This Sentence?

When I was at Sekolah Sains Sosial (School of Social Sciences) this morning, I saw this piece of paper sticked on the wall somewhere near the Bilik Tutorial 1. The sentence sounds weird, confusing and hilariously funny to me. Dictionary-based direct translation eh??? I wonder what is he/she trying to say. This is one of the "misuse" of English among some of university students. They are very much depending on dictionary as their "language translators" which lead to mistranslations. Oops! Cukup, tak nak cakap lebih-lebih, English aku bukannya bagus sangat pon! Grammar berterabur, kadang-kadang wrong word order pun ada! Peace...

I agree with you, translations can be a funny thing. My family is from Brazil but I grew up primarily speaking English at home. When I visit my family in Brazil my Portuguese is not very good, so I must depend on a dictionary. Some of the things I say based on the dictionary sounds much like your letter pictured here. I would take the meaning to be that there is not enough thanks that could express how important it is for him to call the number??? Just a guess.

I enjoyed your reading your blog. Keep on blogging! When you get a chance, please stop by my page. I look forward to your comments and suggestions.
