A Holy Palm Sunday

"Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna:
Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord."
- John 12:13 -

What is Palm Sunday and why it is called Palm Sunday?

Palm Sunday is the sixth and last Sunday of Lent and the beginning of Holy Week. The Sunday before Easter is called Palm Sunday because the crowds waved palm branches as they followed Jesus' procession into Jerusalem for the Jewish festival of Passover.
